Zapateer is a centrally located and quiet new neighborhood. It is located nearby shops, restaurants and schools. The neighborhood is to the north east of the capital Willemstad. Due to its favorable location on the wind, it is a very fresh neighborhood. Sint Joris Bay is nearby to the east. Sint Jorisbaai is a beautiful nature reserve with many breathtaking views. The bay is very popular with people who love kite surfing, wake boarding and windsurfing in Curacao. Bikers and hikers also often use the beautiful walking routes around the water in the middle of this pristine nature.
And if you’re more into social events it is just 10 minutes to Salinja and Mambo beach!
